A major factor in always living in the Joy of the Lord is prioritizing praise and thanksgiving to God in our lives.
Joy is from God and not ourselves. To have joy in the Lord requires remembering all he is doing and remembering his promises.
True, lasting joy is a gift from God. It’s not of ourselves. Therefore, to have joy in the Lord requires us to engage in remembering God.
Can we be honest with each other? How about just ourselves? Do we have real joy in the Lord? Or, do we just say we do?

All of us struggle. Our struggles are different both in cause and effect, but because of God’s gift to us, we all can engage in facing struggle with joy.
